AC Milan, Chelsea and PSG are interested in Riyad Mahrez who could leave Manchester City this summer
Manchester City attacker Riyad Mahrez could leave the club this summer with AC Milan and PSG interested in signing him. Footmercato and L’Equipe have reported that Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, and Real Madrid are all interested in signing the right-winger who has had a bit-part role in Pep Guardiola’s team. Mahrez’s contract ends in 2023, and The Citizens will love to offload him this summer. Another reason the club is open to a sale is because they are looking to make space for Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland.
PSG has refused to renew Angel Di Maria’s contract, and he will leave this summer. Mahrez will be a more than capable replacement for the silky Argentine. A return to French football could be on the cards for the former Le Havre talent. Italian interest also looks serious. AC Milan is rumored to be interested in the Algerian national team captain. The club is expecting new/heavy investment from their takeover bid. Mahrez has scored 23 goals and assisted eight more in 42 appearances this campaign. The Les Verts winger has 62 goals and 45 assists in 184 appearances for City.
Despite his age, Mahrez is an offensive weapon for any team that signs him and will still fetch a substantial fee if he moves this summer. The question now is, to where?
