Derived from the word "connected" in the universal second language Esperanto, KONEKTIS embodies the spirit of unity and fan engagement. With the tournament spanning eight Swiss host cities, all in close proximity, the name celebrates the connections between fans, players, and cultures.

A Design Inspired by Switzerland

KONEKTIS’s striking visual design honours the host nation, showcasing bold graphics set against a pearlescent background. The jagged-edged block patterns in red, blue, purple, orange, and green reflect the Alpine mountain range that defines Switzerland's landscape.

Connected Ball Technology: A Tournament First

For the first time in a UEFA Women’s European Championship, the match ball will feature adidas Connected Ball Technology. A cutting-edge 500Hz inertial measurement unit (IMU) motion sensor, stabilized in the ball’s core, tracks precise movements in real time.

This revolutionary technology provides real-time data to video match officials, aiding faster and more accurate decisions on critical moments like handballs or penalties. In collaboration with Kinexon, adidas has ensured that this system integrates seamlessly with AI-assisted tools, reducing decision-making delays and enhancing the viewing experience.
