Leroy Sane Talks Fashion, Personal Development, and the Euros Tournament in GQ Germany's June Cover Story
Ahead of this summer’s Euros tournament in Germany, GQ Germany interviewed FC Bayern player Leroy Sane. They discussed his passion for fashion and how he incorporates it into his daily life, his experiences in Manchester, his personal development, and his expectations for the European Championship.
The shoot location was in a swimming pool area in the countryside of Bavaria.

On if “feeling good” mean how comfortable an outfit is or how natural it feels?
Both, but someone can be wearing the coolest outfit – if you notice that the person in question doesn’t represent that kind of fashion, then it quickly seems wrong and artificial. I think that the jacket thing was made bigger than it was because these topics were already being staged much more on social media than before. Fashion is playing an increasingly important role, and people are paying more attention to who is wearing which brands. I’m definitely not trying to polarize.
On how he feels about the National team pink Away Jersey
The colors aren’t subtle, but I’m just as colorful with my soccer shoes, so I really like it.
