Liverpool reach FULL agreement with Benfica over the signing of Darwin Núñez for €80m + bonuses

Darwin Nunez looks set to Liverpool's second signing of the summer with news of a transfer agreement breaking in Portugal

Liverpool are closing in on a transfer for Benfica and Uruguay striker Darwin Nunez with an offer of 80 million Euros + bonuses set to be accepted by the Portuguese club. With the reds about to lose AFCON 2021 winner Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich, the club has decided to sign an orthodox striker with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota covering the left side. Reports say Liverpool will pay a £68million up front and £17m+ in add-ons. The 22-year-old former Almeria striker is quick, strong, raw, and aggressive.
