OFFICIAL: Barcelona complete the signing of Raphinha from Leeds United for 55 million Euros
Raphinha has OFFICIALLY been unveiled as a new Barcelona player. He joins from Leeds United for a reported fee of £49m

Two days ago, Barcelona reached an agreement in principle with Leeds United to sign Brazilian attacker Raphinha. Today, the player signed his contracts and was presented by the club to the fans. The 25-year-old was a target for Chelsea and Arsenal, but stood firmly on his decision to join Barcelona after agreeing personal terms with the club a while back. Raphinha will provide competition for Ousmane Dembele down the right flank as the financially-crippled-yet-somehow-spending-lavishly club attempts to fight for titles again.

The Brazilian attacker is a tricky customer to deal with. His pace, skills, and playmaking ability helps him to carve out opposition. In his first season in the Premier League, Raphina made 30 appearances, scoring six goals and providing nine assists. Last season, in a Leeds side battling relegation, the Brazilian still managed 11 goals and three assists to help the club beat the drop. He played a big part in the escape. Jesse Marsch thanked the right-winger for his contribution and dedication.

Raphinha is a great addition to the Catalan club, and it is refreshing to see a hardworking player get his dream move. Goodluck to Raphinha in sunny Spain!
