Paul Pogba returns to Juventus
World Cup-winning central midfielder Paul Pogba has joined Juventus on a free transfer after leaving Manchester United. He signed a three-year contract with the Bianconeri after having his medicals at the J-Medical center in Turin. Pogba will reportedly earn €8m net per season plus €2m in add-ons. He will wear the number 10 shirt vacated by Paulo Dybala.
Pogba enjoyed his finest years in the white and black of Juve between 2012-2016, establishing himself as one of the better midfielders in Europe He will be hoping to find that spark again after inconsistent performances in the North-west of England. He’ll add some much-needed dynamism to Max Allegri’s stale midfield as they look to retake the Scudetto title after two years.
Juventus have also completed the signing of Angel di Maria
Pogba’s move comes after the Old Lady completed the signing of Argentine playmaker Angel di Maria following his departure from PSG. The former Real Madrid attacker will wear the number 22 jersey for the 2022/23 season that starts in a month.
