Raphael Varane Inching Towards Manchester United
According to various reports from Spain and England, Raphael Varane’s move from Real Madrid to Manchester United is getting closer. The French defender is trying to leave the club on amiable/respectful terms so he is not forcing his move. Throughout the summer, it has been clear that the former Lens man wants to leave Real Madrid after 10 years, 313 games, and 17 titles. Personal terms have been agreed with Manchester United and the Red Devils only need to agree to a deal with Real Madrid.
Florentino Perez shows no weaknesses and will always open the doors of Santiago Bernabeu if anyone wants to leave. Despite losing Sergio Ramos for free, he is ready to let go of Varane despite adding only David Alaba this summer. Even the Alaba case is not so straightforward. The Austrian wants to play in midfield. According to MARCA, Perez has told the Real Madrid board and new coach Carlo Ancelotti that there will be no more signings this summer. An interesting 2021/2022 season lies ahead of Real Madrid.
